People often tell me I look Asian because of my eyes. #HoodedEyes are not an actual Asiatic epicanthic fold over the eyes but can share similar functions in protecting the eyes in cold and windy climates. Yeah, I’ve been teased about it. I have also had others who were born with this trait tell me they were bullied or singled out for it, just as I was. And some have even had even gone so far as to get surgery to “fix” their eyes so they would not be singled out anymore. I say forget society’s world view on what we “should be”. I have no desire to fit in. What I love is when people are just being themselves and not worrying about whether or not they fit into someone else’s cookie cutter world view as to what others think they should be. Hold on to what makes you stand out. And get out of that bubble. Because the things that seem like weaknesses or seem like weird things that people may say make you seem strange, when you get out into the world, you are going to find out that those differences become your greatest strength! Embrace them! Embrace your uniqueness!! Others will simply have to deal with it! Hooded eyes are a Western trait! We go down in history!

Have you had someone completely try to shatter you in one sentence over something you've wanted in your life? I've been criticized for everything that I've shared, and every goal that I've tried to accomplish! I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going to let any man tell me what I can or cannot do concerning my future and dreams. I've lived my life for far too long trying to please everyone else! I'm done! To all those haters out there who wish to look down your critical noses at me, look at yourselves! Do you have any dreams or goals of your own? Because if you truly did then you would be too busy investing in your future accomplishments rather then trying to figure out ways to destroy other human beings! I don't care if say you don't see a future of me singing. I'm doing it anyway, because the only person that needs to believe in my dreams is me. I'll write books, I'll become an author. I'll go to Germany, learn the language. Heck! I may even start my own gaming company. Who knows? I will accomplish even greater goals than you ever could imagine! Why? Because time is precious and I would rather spend it on the things that truly matter than to waste it criticizing everyone else. I'm done trying to please everyone. So go ahead, tell me I can't.
